Article 3. The main purpose, objectives and principles of this Law are the Law on State Protection of Persons Participating in Criminal Proceedings
1. The main purpose of this Law is to determine the legal basis of security activities in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the status and powers of entities engaged in security activities.
2. The main objectives of this Law are:
1) protection of life and health of individuals from criminal and other unlawful encroachments;
2) protection of the property of individuals and legal entities from unlawful encroachments.
3. The basic principles of this Law are:
1) legality;
2) respect and observance of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of man and citizen;
3) taking into account the vital interests of the individual, society and the state;
4) prevention of violation of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of third parties in the course of security activities
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 5, 2000 No. 72.
This Law establishes a system of State measures to protect the life, health, property, legitimate rights, and interests of persons participating in criminal proceedings, their family members, and close relatives, and to ensure their safety in order to prevent unlawful interference in criminal proceedings.
